Feedback from users is that AC Gear Super Iso Cans provide better isolation than the alternatives, including some of the most expensive extreme isolation headphones. We do not state a simple sound attenuation value (eg 30dB) because it is subject to so many variables! 

Our tests indicate the following: around 32dB at 1000Hz and varying from around 22dB to over 40dB across most of the audible spectrum. Typical drumming sounds are attenuated by 25dBA or more based on our tests, and pink noise is attenuated by around 28dB. Please note that these tests were not controlled and were for product development only. In summary, these are flat-out excellent.

We use high quality, sensitive 40mm 64ohm speakers custom made for this application. The speakers and enclosure are fine tuned for a genuinely even response. This is the result of many, many design revisions and measurements to refine the audio whilst maintaining powerful noise isolation. Super Iso Cans II have a flatter response than before, with a gentle roll-off in the high frequencies. You will love the combination of a pleasing EQ, clear, detailed sound, and incredible isolation.
